Thu Sep 12 - 7:00pm-8:30pm
What is a climate cafe?
- An informal, open, respectful, confidential space to safely share emotional responses and reactions related to the climate and environmental emergency (i.e. a “container”).
- A space for exploration of thoughts, feelings and experiences rather than what we are DOING about the climate crisis.
- A quiet, reflective experience - a haven from usual busyness and activity.
Note: a Climate Cafe is NOT a clinical space, or a replacement for therapy.
Who (is hosting this cafe)
My name is Rissa (she/her). I have years of experience facilitating groups in various settings, and have an interest in climate emotions, group support structures, and the intersection of systemic issues.
I have been trained by Climate Psychology Alliance NA to facilitate climate cafes, although CPA-NA is not an endorser of this event.
