Metro is poised to vote on its Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) which will guide transportation investments over the next two decades. The bulk of the expenditures in the TP are highway construction and widening that will induce more car travel and increase greenhouse gas emissions, setting up Oregon to fail its climate goals. Their plan will double our new roadway spending and cut transit investment.
On November 30th, Metro Council will vote on the plan.Join us outside Metro Council for a rally with speeches and theater. Wear red!
