Climate Resilience Circle

Sun Feb 18 - 3:00pm-4:30pm

This gathering is an invitation to all that are seeing the impacts of climate change. When we stop and let ourselves feel the feelings, it can feel heavy and hard. It can be challenging to navigate the myriad emotions and thoughts that arise in the face of climate change. Climate Resilience Circles are an opportunity to recognize and make space for the fullness of your experience through connecting with others, sharing authentically, listening deeply, and exploring opportunities for building personal resilience.

Designed for people affected by the climate crisis, whether you are an organizer, advocate, activist, or climate justice warrior or perhaps you have experienced the crisis personally, we welcome you to work through it.

The Circle is facilitated by a professionally trained resilience educator, Tamara Staton. The participants are regular people ranging in age from mid-twenties to mid-sixties.

This month's Circle will be take place at p:ear:creative youth mentoring, location,338 NW 6th Ave. Portland, OR 97209. Near Lan Su Chinese Garden in Old Town. There is a public parking lot, adjacent to the building and street parking avaiable.
